Battle for Breath Twitter Chat
Thu 24 November 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm GMT

24 Nov 2016, Online
Earlier this year the British Lung Foundation published ‘The Battle for Breath’, a rallying call which exposes shocking inequalities and slow progress in tackling lung disease. In response, Life of Breath team members and BLF’s Head of Research, Ian Jarrold, will share their thoughts on the issues raised through a series of blog posts, culminating in a Twitter chat (#breathreport) on Thursday 24 November. Amongst other questions, they will explore why lung research so underfunded compared to cancer and heart disease, the ‘invisiblity’ of lung disease and how to address the stigma associated with breathlessness.
